Every October ,the city of Bhadohi-known across the world as India’s Carpet Capital.
From 11th to 14th October 2025, the Bhadohi Carpet Fair opened its door once again , welcoming weavers,exporters,designers, and buyer from across India and abroad.
For four days, this small city buzzed with energy. Streets filled with trucks carrying rolled-up carpets , tea stalls became meeting points for traders, and every conversation circled back to one thing -the beauty of handmade craftsmanship.

Behind every carpet on display stands a story – a family , a weavers , and years of tradition.
In Bhadohi, almost every household is connected to weaving in some way.Some families dye wool and silk,others spin threads, and many sit for hours at their looms, tying knots one by one.Many artisans who usually work quietly in their villages got a chance to meet buyers face-to-face
For visitors, it wasn,t just about buying carpet ; it was about understanding the hands that made them.
